All the new renovations look amazing. Excellent construction (and other) contractors were involved with the much needed upgrade up and down the beach front. - - jekyll island is absolutely beautiful, now. I would highly recommend anyone to visit. It's still quaint, quiet and the dunes are gorgeous! You'll love it..
We loved it here! Great place, full kitchen, very comfortable beds. Located on Driftwood beach. We walked on the beach every evening. Also excellent restaurant onsite. Dog friendly too! Loved hearing the waves on our patios.
I have never been to a beach that is so peaceful and beautiful at the same time. It was almost breath taking. This was an extra little stop on our way to Orlando and to be frank I would have much rather have spent a few nights.
Very nice property! Has an excellent buffet breakfast (not included in rate). If I was rating simply based on the hotel I'd give it a 7/10. However the property is beautifully landscaped and has easy beach access to one of the most wonderful East Coast beaches not in the state of Florida. I felt like I was on a private beach most the time as only a handful of other vacationers were within eye sight. And this was on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, I look forward to staying here again during the week to see if it is more or less busy.
Love Jekyll Island. We go there every year, it has a lot of history and a beautiful historical hotel. You can camp on the island, hike trails or ride your bike. There is an AWESOME pizza restaurant there, I can't remember the name of it. But there is a mini golf place behind it. The food there is absolutely amazing.
